Albert Ribalta, graduate in Interpretation by Institut del Teatre de Terrassa and in Film Direction by CECC.
On television, he stands out for his work in several series and programs for Televisió de Catalunya such as Bojos per Molière, Nit i dia, 39+1, KMM, La Sagrada Família, Via Augusta, Plats bruts, Set de nit, Com si fos ahir, and Jet Lag among others. For Telecinco, Aída and Hospital Central; and for Canal+, La noche americana. In film, he stands out for the movies El club dels bons infidels by Lluís Segura, La maniobra de Heimlich by Manolo Vázquez, El gran Vázquez by Óscar Aibar, 13 dies d’octubre by Carlos Marqués and 7 raons per a fugir by Gerard Quinto, Esteve Soler, and David Torras. We’ve recently seen him in Wolfgang by Javier Ruiz Caldera.
In theater he has worked with directors such as Manuel Dueso, Julio Manrique, Josep Maria Mestres, Oriol Broggi, Carlota Subirós, Carol López, Xicu Masó, Ferran Madico, Àlex Rigola, Lluís Pascual, David Selvas, and Andrea Jiménez. With T de Teatre he has participated in the productions Delicades and Aventura! by Alfredo Sanzol and Premis i càstigs by Ciro Zorzoli. He has also co-written, with Xavier Mira and Marta Pérez, the productions Nelly Blue and Operació Moldàvia, directed by Marta Pérez and performed by Xavi Mira and himself.
He is currently working on the series La casa nostra, directed by Dani de la Orden.
