CARME PLA

Carme Pla graduated in acting from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona. She is a founding member of the T de Teatre theater company and has participated in all of their projects.

Outside the company, she has appeared in the theater productions Pel davant i pel darrera, by Michael Frayn; Tres dones i un llop, under the direction of Carol López; Hamlet, directed by Oriol Broggi; No és tan fàcil, by Josep Maria Mestres; La filla del mar, by Àngel Guimerà and directed by Sergi Belbel; Contes sorneguers, by Pere Calders; and Humor humà, of her own creation.

She has appeared in the films Petra, by Jaime Rosales; El Olivo, by Icíar Bollaín; Con la comida no se juega, by Daniel M.Caneiro; La nit que va morir l’Elvis, by Oriol Ferrer; Ficción and En la ciudad, both by Cesc Gay; and No et tallis ni un pèl, by Francesc Casanovas. On television, she has participated in the series KMM, La sagrada família, Laura, Plats bruts, Efectes secundaris, Dones d’aigua, Tres pics i repicó, Tres estrelles by El Tricicle, Bojos per Moliere, and Vintage, all for TVC. At a national level, some series to highlight are Los ladrones van a la oficina, Crack, Hospital Central, and La Última noche en Tremor by Oriol Paulo for Netflix.

She is currently filming the second season of Vintage.
